A Salute To Our Heroes

FallenHeroes

I don’t know how to react for the series of events happening to our beloved country. I am deeply saddened by what happened in Mindanao with our fallen heroes. I cringe to death for the corruptions since time immemorial. Sumasabay pa ang mga Binay. Aside from the day-to-day news about murder, rape, holdup, robbery, senseless accidents, terrorism, rebellion, garnished with the heaviest traffic in the universe that have been widely accepted as normal and no solutions at all, not to mention the lack of preparedness every time a typhoon comes our way. And most of all, the weakness of the government reflects to the social ills that we are suffering until this very moment. Ei, by the way, we also have the worst airport on earth.

I was not blaming the President but rather I was looking for him like a son who lost his father in the middle of the wake of his brothers. And it is not just wake, ito ay tulad ng pagsalubong sa mga bayaning nakipaglaban para sa bansa. A Hero’s Welcome, I must say. But what makes us really annoyed was the insensitivity of the Father of this country who would rather attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony than condole with the entire nation and gives us assurance that as a leader he is with us in pursuit for peace and justice. Welcoming the fallen troops cannot wait, car show can wait until forever.

“Tayo kaya ano na kaya ang naiambag natin para sa ating bansa? Meron na ba?”

YES. Like other citizens, I observe and do my responsibilities as a taxpayer so I can contribute for the projects of Malacañang, Senate, and the Congress which unfortunately NOT ALL taxes have been used for the good welfare of the people. And also, I am studying so hard until this time so I can be fully educated to serve the country with the little acts that I should do like what most of the citizens of the Philippines do. Not to mention that I am following the policies, rules, regulations, and law of this country so I will not be a headache for other people.

Again, I was not blaming the President. I am looking for him as a father because I lost my 40 plus brothers who fought for me, for us.

The truth hurts, but it is only by admitting and recognizing first the existence of these problems that we will be able to face them as a nation. Still, may the mercy and compassion remain with us.

neverForget

I, as a youth and citizen of the Republic of the Philippines also mourn for the death of our heroes who offered their lives in the middle of serving the country.

Para sa ating mga bayaning PNP-SAF, saludo ako sa inyong katapangan at kadakilaan! ‪#‎GodblessPH‬
