Life Begins at 40: A Personal Reflection

  1. In everything you do, do it for the glory of God.
  2. Being a Christian is not merely about religion. It is about a personal relationship with God.
  3. Cultivate a habit of daily devotion, morning or evening, to reflect on the Word of God.
  4. Participate in seasons of prayer, fasting, and consecration within your church community.
  5. Be a cheerful giver. Trust that God is the source of everything.
  6. Guard against ego. It can lead you to say and do things you will regret.
  7. Life will humble you in many ways. Embrace the lessons.
  8. If you repeat the same mistakes, life will repeat the same lessons until you learn.
  9. Do not compare your journey with someone else’s chapter.
  10. Trust the process. It may be slow, but every step matters.
  11. You cannot impose your beliefs on others. Inspire them through how you live.
  12. Love and respect your parents.
  13. Treat all people with respect and dignity, regardless of their status.
  14. Not everyone in your circle will genuinely celebrate your success. Be discerning.
  15. Keep friends who truly care for you, and be that kind of friend to them as well.
  16. Celebrate the success of others. Your time will come. There is no scarcity of blessings.
  17. Be a faithful steward of your finances. If you can be trusted with little, you can be trusted with much.
  18. Live within your means. Do not spend beyond what you can afford.
  19. Strengthen your patience. When you feel anger rising, pause and pray before you respond.
  20. Save for the future. Build an emergency fund.
  21. The best time to start investing is today.
  22. Use credit cards wisely and responsibly. Avoid excess that leads to regret.
  23. If you owe someone, whether a person or a company, pay your debts.
  24. To be debt-free is to experience freedom.
  25. You do not need to look rich to impress others, especially at the cost of debt.
  26. Health is wealth. Choose one or two activities that keep you physically active.
  27. Plan your days with intention.
  28. Make time to rest.
  29. Read every day. Always carry a book you can open anytime.
  30. Pursue graduate studies if you can. It broadens your perspective.
  31. It is okay to start over. It is okay to dream new dreams.
  32. Develop emotional intelligence. Choose to respond with wisdom, not react out of impulse.
  33. Positions and titles in your career are temporary.
  34. Be courageous enough to break the cycle of generational poverty in your family.
  35. Be a responsible citizen. Register and vote wisely.
  36. Speak up when you see abuse of power. Responsibility includes accountability.
  37. Join a rally at least once in your life to understand the fight for human rights.
  38. You do not need to share everything on social media. Life continues even without constant posting.
  39. Our country is beautiful. Make time to explore it, even through budget travel.
  40. You do not need to please everyone. It is okay to be disliked. You are not everyone’s cup of tea.

Biruin mo yun! Wala akong work…. At matic yun kapag wala kang work, mababaon ka talaga sa utang! Pero kahit naman may work ako noon baon pa rin ako sa mga credit cards haha.

Totoong health is wealth kaya noong nagkasakit ako hindi lang ako nag back to zero, nag negative pa!
