Not Everyone Likes You and That’s Okay

Not everyone likes you. And that’s okay.

Have you experienced doing great things in life and yet no matter how hard you try there are people who would still not applaud nor praise you for a job well done? Simply because you are not their cup of tea and that is fine.

Have they labelled you as weirdly different for what you do or for what you are and by not conforming to their expectations? Simply because you are unique and not part of the common crowd.

Have they sarcastically laughed at you by showing the proficiency of your genuine talents, skills, and intellect? Simply because you are excellent and passionate, and you do not buy mediocrity.

Have you been persecuted because of what you believe, how you stand for your values, and how you perceive things in life? Simply because you are a man of honor who walks the talk and not the other way around.

If that is you,

Maybe you are embodying your postmodern self where you consciously debunk the meta-narratives of what the world pushes you to become.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not about rebellion for merely sake of breaking the rules. It’s about embracing your amazing, beautiful soul that’s only you who possess in this lifetime and beyond.

Because as they say, “those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it.”

Not everyone likes you because you’re not like everybody else. And that’s okay.
