One student at a time.

For the past 13 years in the academe, I have used my platform as a college professor to open the eyes and stir the spirits of my students across every course I handle — from theories to productions — by engaging them with social realities, exposing them to harsh truths, and amplifying stories from the margins and neglected narratives.

Anchored in the FEU Department of Communication’s mantra, “may alam, may pakialam,” my students are consistently guided, inspired, and challenged to use their education, knowledge, skills, and social awareness (may alam) in service of the people and for the greater good of our nation (may pakialam).

This commitment is more than just a professional duty. It is part of my purpose in life.
