Good governance begins with each of us

As an academic, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of good governance in various ways:

I delivered a special lecture on Social Advocacy Cinema and Activism to General Education students, served as moderator of the FEU Good Governance Forum, and participated as a guest panelist in the FEU Communication Society’s “Dictator’s Cut.”

In my own small way, I sought to shed light on how good governance begins at the personal level with integrity in our everyday decisions, courage to speak out against wrongdoing, and commitment to serve others with honesty and empathy.

Transparency, accountability, and civic duty are not abstract ideals; they are daily practices that sustain democracy and nurture public trust.

May these collective efforts continue to inspire our students and fellow educators to become advocates of ethical leadership and responsible citizenship.

Good governance truly begins with each of us.

Salamat FEU sa pagkakataon.
